I’m thrilled to share my unforgettable experience at the 15th National Annual Cybersecurity Conference organized by Sri Lanka CERT|CC ! As I transition into this exciting field, this conference has been a game-changer for me.
I had the privilege of meeting remarkable individuals, including Mr. Sujit Christy, who addressed the critical issue of the Cyber Security Skills Gap. His insights were eye-opening and inspired me to continue to upskill myself and contribute to this field.
Another notable talk was by Mr. Oshada Senanayake, who explored the importance of Information and Cyber Security Policy within the ever-changing technology landscape. It provided a comprehensive reference for shaping secure environments.
Mr. Buddhika De Alwis‘s discussion on Incident Response was fascinating, shedding light on effective strategies to handle and mitigate cyber incidents. The importance of preparedness and swift response cannot be overstated in our increasingly interconnected world.
Additionally, Mr. Roshan Chandraguptha‘s presentation on the Impact of AI on Cyber Security left a lasting impression. It highlighted the potential of artificial intelligence to revolutionize cybersecurity, both as a tool for defense and a target for malicious actors.
Attending this conference has further fueled my passion for cybersecurity. I am excited to embrace the challenges and opportunities this field presents. The knowledge gained, coupled with the connections made, have given me a solid foundation for my journey ahead!
